    Wine 11.16 with the ElementalWarrior base patches and the full Affinity patch set as of 2026-10-01 (branch commit 63792b6).

    Supersedes 11.16-r2 with two patches:

    • new ntdll: finish process exit instead of waiting on orphaned SRW locks. Affinity 3.3 logged Exit after closing and never left, so the next launch silently did nothing. At exit, a destructor in libnetwork.dll waits on a mutex whose owner ExitProcess has already killed; Windows ends the process there, Wine waited forever. Ported from GE-Proton. Unpatched, 2 of 2 closes hung; patched, 5 of 5 exited in 4.5-7 s with exit code 0.
    • new comdlg32: name the application in every portal dialog title, so a dialog the application titles itself ("Select Folder") reads "Select Folder (Affinity)" and a keep-above window rule can match it. Under Wayland it fell behind its parent.

    11.16-r2 and 11.16 are left in place for older installers and as rollbacks. The AffinityOnLinux installer pins this build by its checksum.
